These free fitness programs offer seniors and individuals living with Parkinson’s a variety of guided group sessions—including strength, balance, mobility, and gentle yoga—held in person at the Aline-Chrétien Health Hub. They promote safe, accessible movement to support overall wellness.

Programs
Group Excersise
Group exercises sessions for seniors to improve strength, balance and mobility. Sessions are in person on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:30am-11:15am, at the Aline-Chretien Health Hub.
Exercise class for people living with parkinson
Range of motion, rhythm & coordination, strength & balance. These chair exercise classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:15am-12:00pm, at the Aline-Chretien Health Hub.
Gentle yoga stretch
Gentle yoga stretch classes for seniors. Tuesdays and Fridays at 9:00am-10:00am or 10:00am-11:00am, at the Aline-Chretien Health Hub.
Stretch Lab
This class is designed to help improve flexibility, mobility, and overall well‑being. Only registered participants may attend, and a 3‑month commitment is required. Every 3 months, there will be a registration blitz. The next registration period will be in June, and the exact date will be communicated once confirmed. Thursdays at 9:00am-9:45am or 10:00am-10:45am.

Service Area
The program serves older adults and adults with physical disabilities residing in Ottawa’s east end communities such as Beacon Hill, Blackburn Hamlet, Carlsbad Springs, Cumberland, Gloucester, Gloucester South, Orleans, Navan, Riverside South, Sarsfield and Vars.
