Short-Term Counselling for Children and Youth
The Eastern Ottawa Resource Centre (EORC) offers short-term counselling services for children and youth between the ages of 6 and 21. These sessions are designed to support emotional well-being and personal growth, with a focus on helping young people navigate life’s challenges in a safe and supportive environment.

Our qualified professionals tailor each session to meet the individual needs of the client, fostering resilience and empowering youth to build healthy coping strategies.

Eligibility Requirements
- Children and youth aged 6 to 21 years
- Parental consent is required for participants under 12 years old
All services are free and confidential.

Guided Personal Growth
- 6 to 8 counselling sessions tailored to the client’s goals and needs
- Delivered in a safe, confidential, and supportive setting
- Focus areas may include:
- Anxiety and stress
- Life skills and decision-making
- Anger management
- Healthy relationships
- Self-esteem and identity
- Emotional regulation and well-being
