Throughout the year, EORC offers a range of seasonal programs designed to support individuals and families and help ease financial pressures. From free income tax clinics in the spring, to warm winter clothing and holiday assistance programs, to helping students prepare for September through the Back-to-School Program.

Support Services
Free Income Tax Clinic
In partnership with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), the EORC offers a free tax preparation clinic to support community members during tax season. This seasonal program runs annually from late February through April 30th and is available to eligible individuals. Dedicated volunteers provide assistance in completing and filing income tax returns.
Seasonal Programs in partnership with the Caring and Sharing Exchange
Student Success Exchange – Back to School
The EORC is dedicated to helping students start the school year with confidence. Beginning in June, the organization facilitates referrals to the *Sharing in Students’ Success* program—commonly known as the School Program. This initiative provides essential school supplies to help ease the financial burden on families and ensure every child is equipped and ready to learn.
Holiday Programs
Starting in October, the EORC accepts referrals for a variety of seasonal support programs, including the Christmas Exchange, and other sponsorship and hamper initiatives. These programs help brighten the holiday season by offering food, gifts, and meaningful support to families in need.
